Oh my god what a night!!!! I have to take this opportunity to thank everybody who made my night so special!!! As many of you will know it is my birthday on the 20th of june. However since Cynthia left for Europe on the 15th of June I had to move it forward. The 11th of June was already a huge night here in sydney as was the sunday of the long weekend dedicated to the queens birthday. Something even larger happened that weekend however........my fake birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!I had it all planned out and had (with help from my friends) organised tickets and guestlists so that the whole night would run smoothly. Although I was out the night before I stayed very well behaved and drunk lemonade the whole night and took myself off to bed as early as poss. Unfortunately not all went to plan. I woke up sunday morning feeling like I had the worst flu EVER!!!! Even being serenaded by my wonderful friend reedy who woke me up to the tune of the all traditional happy birthday didn't quite give me an energy boost. I managed to drag myself out of bed and went for breakfast. Dosed myself up with sudafed and homeopathic flu remedies which did nothing!!!
My champagne breakfast turned into a herbal tea breakfast (not exactly what we had planned but all I could face!!!). I then gave in on the natural remedies and got myself a bottle of brandy and I have to say that it worked wonders!!!!!! I drunk half of it and was pumped to go! We began the day at "Sounds on Sunday" at the Greenwood hotel in North sydney. I have to say I have had some good times there but this was for sure THE BEST night EVER!!! I know I say that often but this one really was. From beginning to very end it really was perfect!
Accompanied by my gorgeous friends Cynthia, Katie and ofcourse the token gorgeous guy Adrian. We took over the club and busted some of the purest moves ever to be seen. (Pictures in the partying pics gallery in the portfolio section). Afterwards we went to "Tank" and my god I came out with some corkers!! I really don't know what came over me. I was on full wind up mode! From pretending (and getting away with it) to be a security guard and throwing people out of private booths to asking people for ID to, my personal fav, refusing people entry to the "VIP" room which was actually the toilets ha ha. Such a great night. Afterwards we headed back to my place to continue through. I have to admitt it was an absolutely perfect afterparty!! We were supposed to hit the cross bar above the bourban but were far too wasted by that point. After retreating back to my pad we continued with the brandy and it is fair to say that the satisfaction faces aswell as all kinds of other heads were in full motion untill very late. Accompanied with another bottle of brandy and every CD in my collection we discussed the night and set the world to rights.
If you at any time that day experienced the Jennie May effect then do please share any pictures or stories. I'm sure there are far more than I can remember. Unfortunately I managed to lose my camera so lost all of the fabulous pics we posed for throughout the night. HOWEVER, I managed to swipe the ones in my partying pics gallery from both www.soundsonsunday.com and www.inthemix.com. Thanks to both photographers as without you we would have had absolutely no photographic evidence. Once again thanks to everybody who I met that night for making it such a fantastic night. And ofcourse a very special thanks to the ever funny and cocky Katie, Cynthia who I can always count on for being the alltime party legend, and ofcourse my own personal party stud Adrian it wouldn't have been the same without you guys. To Steve;- I've been racking my brains but am still not sure. We did meet quite a few groups of guys from sydney that night and it is only a very vague memory. We actually met 1 of the groups again a couple of days later and I didn't recognise any of them luckily cynthia did though so it was just me who looked like a totally ignorant bitch!!! Well just for you I've put up some extra pics from the thailand trip in the partying pics section. Enjoy xx
