My Personal Biography

Originally starting out as a podium dancer at the young age of 15, I danced in many clubs and events around South Wales. I then moved to Tenerife where for the majority of the time I was dance manager at Club Ministry of Sound. In control of the hiring and firing of the dancers I made a terrible boss as I'm far too much of a party girl, and all I ever wanted to do was make sure everyone was having a good time!! I just didn't have it in me to shout at the girls and was constantly making up excuses for them!!

I spent a total of 1year in Tenerife and it certainly was a life changing experience. I partied hard and made loads of wonderful friends. Most of all though it was a fantastic opportunity for me to really grow as a person and I arrived back in the UK with a completely different outlook on life. I still believe in living life for the moment and ensure I try to experience all of lifes pleasures, but I also now know that all goals are achievable and my networking skills are now second to none!

During my days as a podium dancer I saw an all girl dance troup perform live in one of the main clubs in Swansea, then called "Ritzies." I was completely in awe of them and turned to one of my friends and said "I will dance with them one day". Imagine my amazement when only a few months after moving back from tenerife, on my 19th birthday, I performed for the first time as part of the same dance troup.

I felt first incredibly nervous while waiting to walk on stage, but the minute I stepped on to the stage, hearing the audience cheer, I felt like I had finally found my calling. I have always had an incredible urge to entertain people and am usually the one in the centre of the room telling stories, singing or dancing away to make sure the party keeps its spark.

I continued touring with the group and performed in many clubs all over the UK and Europe. In the summer of 2002 I was approached by "SKY1" who were making a documentary on the nightlife in the North West of England, they asked if I would be interested in being filmed. They followed me through my day to day life filming me during rehearsals, shopping and fitting for costumes, live performances etc. The footage was then shown in a 6part series beginning in January of 2003.

I also did many interviews with Granada TV in their filming of the program entitled "Centrefolds Uncovered". The fact that I was so lively and outspoken infront of the camera then triggered off many other opportunities working for Granada TV. I was featured in most hit series' filmed by Granada TV over the next 2years. If I had the space in my diary, the casting agents at Granada were happy to fill it. I entered the "Miss Streetfighter" bikini competition as it was being filmed by Granada and made it through to the final and this was where I noticed that maybe I really did have this "stage presence" that everyone told me was setting me apart.

On a recommendation from another model I got in touch with a London Agent called Ken. At that time Ken was beginning to concentrate more on the glamour side of modelling and recognised that he wouldn't be the best agent for me. However he was kind enough to be a fantastic help in getting me on my way into the world I am living now. He sent me on many castings for different presenting jobs all of which looked very promising. Finally I made my decision to work for Cellcast where I gained plenty of experience in hosting live, non-scripted shows. Thanks to the experience and exposure this gave me I have been lucky enough to represent large international brands such as SONY and MTV.

Now a relocation to Sydney Australia is proving to be a very smart move indeed.
